We would like to remind all MOT testers that it is important that you update your details in the MOT VTS device (MOT computer), including supplying a valid personal email address which you can access from you mobile phone or device.
This is extremely important as it will be the only way to receive new passwords and logging on details when moving to and from new centres/vehicle testing stations.
DVSA Special Notice 1-2015 has been sent to all MOT smart card users asking for this information.
DVSA have advised us that they need this to be actioned no later than the end of May 2015. Failure to do so, may make your ability to test impossible. We would advise that this procedure is to be carried out with immediate effect, as failure to be able to test, will obviously inhibit the amount of work Autotech Recruit will be able to offer you or any VTS for that matter.
