It’s Business as Usual for Autotech Recruit

This is not going to be a message of doom and gloom as, despite the challenging circumstances, we are staying cautiously optimistic.

On Tuesday we welcomed some positive news about the Government's decision to delay tax reforms known as IR35. Although this is not a cancellation, as the Government plans to reintroduce this policy in April 2021, it offers some reassurance during these unprecedented times.

Before the Government's announcement, Autotech Recruit had already been in a good position, assessing all our contractors as outside IR35 and many of our clients confirmed they're in agreement with us over this assessment. All the hard work that we have put into getting status determinations from our clients over the last few months will now sit on the back burner and be ready for April 2021.

We continue to support the automotive aftermarket throughout these unprecedented times and will do everything in our power to keep our contractors working whilst also keeping you as safe as possible.

Our office team working hours remain unchanged and we are booking contractors into assignments for the coming weeks as usual.

For now, we move forward as usual. Rest assured, as a company, we will continue to do everything in our power to safeguard our contractors, clients and head office staff, whilst keeping in line with the Government's advice.

Thank you for your continued support. We're sure the Autotech Recruit family will pull together to make the best of this situation.
