We are delighted to announce that Autotech Recruit, the UK’s only recruitment agency dedicated to placing MOT Testers and Vehicle Technicians on a temporary, contract or permanent basis into the motor trade, won a prestigious Best Specialist Recruitment Business gong at the Global Recruiter UK Industry Awards 2017!
The awards recognise great performance in the recruitment sector, with ceremonies held globally. During the UK awards ceremony, which was held in London on the 29th of June 2017, Autotech Recruit won the coveted Best Specialist Recruitment Business, beating over 60 UK recruitment agencies, who had entered the category, in the process.
Organisers of The Global Recruiter Awards commented: “The judges were impressed by Autotech Recruit because they demonstrated clear commitment to their position in their market, including client surveys and contractor charter. Internally, a clear training and development plan supports great staff performance.”
We were also finalists in the Best Small Recruitment Business category, however, to win the Best Specialist Recruitment award marks a pivotal point for Autotech Recruit. The motor trade is thriving, and to be recognised for our dedication and position as a leading voice in the industry, is a great achievement, and we will continue to build on this success.

Autotech Recruit was established in 2010 after the owners, Gavin White, Andrew Sly and Stephen Hughes, who all hail from the motor trade, spotted a gap in the market for a recruitment agency focused on temporary recruitment within the automotive industry.
With the clear aim of helping to close the industry’s skills gap, Autotech Recruit adopted an ‘inch wide, mile deep’ approach, and differentiated themselves from other recruitment agencies by forging strong links with industry leaders and key automotive organisations, ensuring they were abreast of current issues. Actively supporting the future growth of the UK’s automotive industry, Autotech Recruit subsequently launched two subdivisions, for apprenticeships and training, in a bid to support people coming into the industry.
