We asked Josh a few questions about his experience as a vehicle technician and his time with Autotech Recruit, and here’s what he told us…
What made you become a technician with Autotech Recruit?
I become a technician because I like the idea of meeting new people and travelling to different places. I also used to work with a couple of Autotech Recruit guys and I really liked the sound of the job.
What is your favourite make of car and why?
I’m a little bit old school when it comes to cars, they don’t make them like they used to, but for a me an Mk2 Escort has to be the one.
What is the best car you have ever got to fix?
When I first started out in the trade I did my apprenticeship with an independent garage which specialised in Rolls Royce and Bentleys, so working on a few of the old Bentleys had to be the best.
If you weren’t a technician, what would you be?
If I wasn’t a technician, I’d probably be a fireman.
What 3 words sum up your work with Autotech Recruit?
Pleasure, exciting, great.
What is your perfect Sunday?
Perfect Sunday would be a little lie in, walking round to a little cafe for some breakfast, afternoon ride on my bike and stop off in a little country pub maybe for a little roast dinner and a pint, and a movie when I got home.
