Autotech-ApprenticeAutotech Apprentice, a division of Autotech Recruit has a very strong working relationship with the IMI, and two of the apprentices recruited and sponsored by our company were recently invited to participate in filming to promote apprenticeships within the automotive industry.

As the defining body within the motor trade, an IMI qualification offers a solid learning framework and is widely recognised in the automotive sector. An apprenticeship programme in particular provides a well-rounded learning experience, capturing all elements of the automotive repair business.

Both Lee Macintyre and Jake Bartlett, who appear within the film, began an Audi-approved IMI apprenticeship programme after contacting Autotech Recruit. Our Apprentice team worked with Bedford Audi to place them on their dedicated apprenticeship programme, which offers a hands-on learning experience culminating in a recognised IMI qualification after three years.

Now in their second year of the programme, both Lee and Jake, who will become fully qualified service technicians at the end of the course, emphasise the full breadth of learning that they are undertaking, where ‘no two days are the same’ under the watchful eye of their dedicated mentors.

The film will offer a look inside Bedford Audi and showcase the different apprenticeship routes available to young talent. If you’d like to see how it is to work with prestigious vehicles in a state of the art workshop, see the trailer now and look out for the full film coming soon.
