- Salary: Up to £60,000 p/a (DOE)
- Bonus: Up to 10% of salary (company performance-based)

About the RoleAs Workshop Manager, you’ll be at the heart of our operations, overseeing our state-of-the-art, 7-bay workshop while actively working as a technician (50% productivity schedule). You’ll manage and support a high-performing team, ensuring jobs are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and inspire the workshop team, ensuring a culture of collaboration, learning, and excellence
- Conduct daily team ‘huddles’ to discuss workflows, priorities, and quality standards
- Work closely with the service team to ensure all jobs are completed on time
- Oversee MOT operations as Site Manager (MOT Tester qualification preferred)
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles to manufacturer standards
- Support and mentor apprentices and junior technicians
- Maintain workshop equipment, tools, and ensure a clean, safe working environment
- Stay ahead of industry trends and recommend new tooling or knowledge improvements
What We’re Looking For:
- Experienced Technician: Minimum 5 years in a high-end workshop, with City & Guilds or IMI Level 3 qualifications (Master Tech preferred)
- EV & Hybrid Expertise: Ideally Level 3 (Level 4 preferred)
- MOT Tester: Preferably certified
- Leadership Skills: Strong ability to mentor, motivate, and manage a team
- Tech-Savvy: Comfortable with diagnostics, garage management systems (TechMan preferred), and software like OPUS ProDrive, AUTEL, CORE, BOSCH ESI KTS
- Full UK Driving Licence & right to work in the UK essential
