Are you a qualified and experienced Vehicle Diagnostic Technician looking to join a family-run business?

We are currently recruiting on behalf of one of our well establish clients. They require a high-level Diagnostic Technician to join their team to keep up with customer demand and our expanding workshop.

The Role
Working as part of the diverse team you will share pride in diagnosing, repairing, and servicing all makes and models of car and light commercial vehicles.

You must be fully qualified and experienced with great attention to detail. Our client believes in rewarding their team members fairly based on experience. They are looking for a top-level diagnostic technician and your salary will reflect this.

Our client specialises in Mercedes-Benz, Jaguar, Land Rover & BMW. So, experience in these brands is ideal but not essential as full training is provided.

Ideally you would have the following:
Vehicle Technician: 5 years (required)
Automotive Diagnostic: 3 years (preferred)
Driving Licence (required)

You will be expected to:
Carry out electronic and mechanical diagnosis and fault-finding using Bosch KTS, OPUS & Mercedes Star Tester. (Training given but previous diagnostic experience is necessary).
Complete repairs in allotted times whilst maintaining company standards.
Communicate issues to the service advisors and conduct additional work as advised.
Ensure that all repairs are thorough and done to the highest standard. Customers recognise our client for their honesty, it is imperative that you share this value with them.
Maintain a working knowledge of a diverse range of vehicles and industry standards, practices & technologies.
Provide detailed records of all completed work.
Report on any other issues the vehicle may have.

Your hard work will be rewarded with:
Competitive Salary, £35,000 - £45,000 per year and based on experience

40 hours per week + 4 hours on 1 in 3 Saturdays
Monday to Friday- 8am-5pm & 9am-6pm, alternate weeks.
Saturday- 8am- 12 pm (1 in 3 Saturdays)
