Vehicle Technician

About the Role:
We’re seeking a skilled and dedicated Vehicle Technician to join our team. In this role, you'll be responsible for diagnosing, servicing, and repairing a variety of vehicles, ensuring all work meets high safety and quality standards. Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair a wide range of vehicle issues, from routine maintenance to complex repairs
• Conduct detailed inspections and offer accurate recommendations for solutions
• Complete work efficiently, maintaining high safety and quality standards
• Communicate effectively with customers and colleagues, providing clear updates on repairs and timelines
• Work proactively to identify and address potential vehicle issues before they become problems

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician, preferably in a busy workshop environment
• Strong diagnostic and mechanical skills with a keen eye for detail
• Relevant qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent)
• A problem-solving mindset and excellent communication skills
• Full UK driving license

Working Hours:

• Monday to Friday: 8:00 AM - 5:30 PM
• Every other Saturday: 8:00 AM - 1:00 PM
• 1-hour break during the week (split: 15-minute tea break, 30-minute lunch, 15-minute tea break)

Overtime:

• Occasional overtime may be available during busy periods

Location: Northampton 

Salary: £32,000 - £36,000 (Depending on Experience)
