This is a dual-role opportunity for someone who loves rolling up their sleeves while also steering a team of 4-5 staff to success. You’ll be the go-to person ensuring the garage operates smoothly and efficiently while delivering top-notch technical service.

What You’ll Do

• Be a hands-on expert: Perform vehicle repairs using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostics.
• Lead with excellence: Organize bookings, assign jobs, and oversee the quality of work.
• Keep things running smoothly: Conduct inspections, manage fleet accounts, and maintain optimal garage operations.
• Empower the team: Train junior technicians and foster a culture of continuous learning and best practices.
• Ensure happy customers: Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
• Manage resources: Oversee budgets, recruit staff, and make sure the team has what it needs to succeed.

What We’re Looking For

• Experienced Problem Solver: You’ve got proven experience as a Senior Vehicle Technician and know your way around mechanical systems.
• Leader & Mentor: You’re confident managing people, sharing knowledge, and inspiring excellence in the workplace.
• Technical Skills: NVQ Level 3 qualification, expertise in diagnostics, and a solid understanding of tools and repair processes.
• Organizational Wizard: You thrive in coordinating schedules, prioritizing tasks, and making sure every detail is on point.
• Customer-Focused: You take pride in delivering exceptional service and building strong client relationships.
