Overview
We are seeking a level 3 qualified Vehicle Technician to join our clients well established, independent garage. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical background and a passion for ensuring vehicle safety and compliance. This role requires attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work unassisted, mainly on brakes, tyres, exhausts, suspension and servicing.

40 Hours per week: Mon-Fri - No weekends

Duties

• Perform comprehensive inspections, including checking brakes, lights, suspension, tyres, and emissions.
• Identify and fix any defects or issues that may affect vehicle safety and performance.
• Complete accurate documentation of test results and communicate findings to customers.
• Maintain a clean and organised workspace while adhering to health and safety regulations.
• Assist with heavy lifting of vehicle components when necessary.

Experience

• Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician is required.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to diagnose and resolve issues efficiently.
• Familiarity with using power tools and hand tools in a workshop environment.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and provide clear explanations of findings.
