Workshop Manager - Cheshire - ATR_32297

Autotech Recruit are looking for an experienced Workshop Manager on behalf of our client, a premier auto repair workshop specialising in accident damage repairs.
Their commitment to quality workmanship and outstanding customer service has established them as a trusted leader in the industry and they are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled individual to join their team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily workshop operations, ensuring optimal efficiency and productivity.
• Coordinate and supervise a team of 18 technicians specialising in panel, paint, and mechanical repairs, along with support staff.
• Evaluate damage reports and estimate repair costs (no estimating required).
• Ensure all repairs comply with safety standards and are completed within deadlines.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
• Address customer inquiries and deliver exceptional service to ensure client satisfaction.
• Collaborate with department managers to implement and monitor quality control procedures and best practices, ensuring high repair standards.
• Partner with upper management to develop strategies for enhancing operational efficiency.
• Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Key Requirements:

• At least 2 years experience in a managerial or supervisory role within the auto repair sector.
• In-depth knowledge of accident repairs, automotive parts, and repair techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret damage reports and repair estimates.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.
• Outstanding communication and customer service skills.
• Familiarity with health and safety regulations related to automotive repairs.
• Capability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

What We Offer:

• Working Hours: Monday to Friday 8am - 5:30pm (no Saturdays!).
• Basic salary of £45,000 with an achievable OTE of £57,000 per annum.
