Working with Autotech Recruit

YOU CAN WORK WITH AUTOTECH RECRUIT AS EITHER A TEMPORARY CONTRACTOR OR AS AN EMPLOYEE. WHICH OPTION IS BEST FOR YOU?

Work with Autotech Recruit, which option is best for you?

Benefits of being a temporary contractor

You choose which contract assignments you take and how many days each week you work.

There are three different ways to be paid as a contractor: Self-Employed/Freelance, Limited Company, and PAYE via an umbrella company. Compare the options with our guide to payment methods

Contracting as Self-Employed/Freelance, or through a Limited Company can make you more tax-efficient, as you can claim business expenses before paying tax.

Contracting often means you can earn more than in a permanent role. You’ll get paid weekly, and we guarantee at least 8 hours of work per day.

You have the chance to work in a variety of businesses. No politics!

After a qualifying period, our contractors gain access to free IMI-approved training, including EV, ADAS, Air-Con, and MOT Annual Training & Assessment.

You’re never on your own! Our friendly, experienced Contracts Managers are always here to support you.

We only contract you for lighter duties. You will not be expected to take on heavy technician work such as clutches or gearboxes.

Benefits of being an ATester or ATech

We offer a competitive monthly salary, paid annual leave and employee benefits. Upon passing your probation, your would be eligible for our pension scheme.

You don't need to have your own business, so there's no need to set up separate business bank accounts or insurance.

We offer uniform and additional training to our employees.

Work with one of our selected clients in their workplaces for a pre-greed fixed period.
