Last week, Andy Savva, known throughout the automotive industry as ‘The Garage Inspector’ attended Autotech Training’s IMI accredited, Level 3 Electric/Hybrid Vehicle training course.
As calls for greater EV training grows throughout the aftermarket, Andy, who delivers training to independent garages to help them run more efficiently, decided to join the electric revolution, and demonstrate to garages that ensuring their vehicle technicians were EV trained would help future-proof their businesses.
Andy comments: “I recently had the pleasure of attending Autotech Training’s Level 3 Electric/Hybrid Vehicle training course. I didn’t know what to expect and, as a trainer myself delivering courses to garage folk, I was eager to see what it would be like on the other side of the fence.
"I am happy to report that not only did I thoroughly enjoy the course, but so did the other delegates who attended. The whole course was delivered with confidence and knowledge. The Autotech Training facility is modern, well laid out and offers a great location to undertake training.
"At times I found some technical element a touch difficult, but Mandla made sure he went over things again until I got it!
"I would confidently recommend this course to those who are serious about expanding their garage services within the EV market.”
Andy recently joined Autotech Group’s Academy division as a Non-Executive Director. In this role, Andy will help drive awareness of the newly launched initiative, which is set to provide qualified college leavers with a gateway into the industry through a paid internship.
