Autotech Recruit has invested in technology that will equip our contractor network of temporary vehicle technicians and MOT testers with vital data on every vehicle on the road - at the touch of a button.

Autotech Recruit is the first recruitment company to team up with automotive data solutions provider HaynesPro UK. As a result, every contractor within our network is set to be given instant access to OEM technical and MOT data on any vehicle they need to work on within any workshop across the UK, through the company’s dedicated contractor portal.

While equipping vehicle technicians and MOT testers with essential information to help them work more efficiently, HaynesPro UK’s OEM technical data will also allow them to estimate repair times and cut the time it takes to identify issues, saving clients both time and money.

Last year, the Autotech Group pledged to invest £170k in training and upskilling its network of 450 contractors. This latest initiative with HaynesPro UK is part of this investment and underpins the company’s commitment to providing the industry with the best temporary vehicle technicians and MOT testers on the market.

As cars become increasingly technical, this partnership with HaynesPro UK will give all contractors fast and efficient access to OEM technical data on every vehicle, including electric and hybrid cars, by simply entering either its registration or Vehicle Identification Number (VIN).

From OEM service schedules and procedures to fluid capacity and type, HaynesPro UK Silver Level service also provides technical drawings. For electric/hybrid vehicles, information on battery disconnections and high voltage circuit deactivation will also be available. An MOT function will also provide the tester with all historical information on the vehicle.

“We live in a data-driven world and, as cars become increasingly complex, it is vital that our contractors are not only trained to a high level but that they have any relevant vehicle information available to them at all times,” comments Simon King, Managing Director of Autotech Recruit and Autotech Training.

“This latest partnership strengthens our alliance with the Autotech Group, as, earlier this year, we became an official partner of Autotech Training’s Electric Vehicle Training Suite,” comments Chris Warner, Sales Director of HaynesPro UK. “The automotive industry is moving on rapidly and, at the heart of this, is technology. We share the company’s ethos that all vehicle technicians and MOT testers should have access to the tools and skills required to carry out their jobs efficiently, and our data-driven software provides them with the most up-to-date OEM vehicle technical data.”
