Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Vehicle Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in using both hand and power tools. As a Vehicle Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicles from Cars, vans, campers, motorhomes and even motorbikes, ensuring they are safe and roadworthy. Your expertise will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality service to our customers.

Duties

• Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify issues and determine necessary repairs.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tyre rotations, and brake inspections.
• Use diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems.
• Repair or replace faulty components, including engines, transmissions, and exhaust systems.
• Maintain accurate records of all work performed on vehicles.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all repairs.
• Collaborate with team members to improve service efficiency and customer satisfaction.
• Hours: Mon - Fri 8-5.30pm and every other Saturday 8-1pm

Essential Requirements

• Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician holding a Level 3 qualification.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to diagnose issues effectively.
• Proficient in using hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• A valid driving licence.
• Relevant qualifications or certifications in automotive technology are advantageous.
