Are you an experienced Vehicle Mechanic / Technician looking for a new opportunity?

Through their continuous business growth our client are looking to hire a Vehicle Mechanic/Technician for their fully equipped workshop near Wigan.
Catering for all makes and models of car through to vans and motorhomes their offering covers: Service, repair, MOT (class 4, 5 & 7), diagnostic, air con, clutches, brakes, engine, timing belts, exhaust, batteries, tyres etc.

Established over 60 years, the business has developed and grown and now works from a 6500sqft Service Centre. The business was taken over in 2020 by a family who are continuing to grow and develop the service offering of the company and the employees.

Qualifications & Experience we would like to see:
-Level 3 Vehicle Maintenance & Repair NVQ or equivalent
-Full UK Driving Licence
-Valid MOT testing licence preferred
-Experience in diagnostic repairs & fault finding
-Team player with excellent communication skills
-Maintain high standards of house keeping
-Excellent time management skills & ability to meet deadlines
-Minimum 3 years practical experience preferred

Terms & Conditions
-Basic salary £30k+ (depending on experience)
-20 days annual leave + 3 additional days for Christmas (garage closes over Christmas period) + Bank Holidays
-40 hours per week Monday - Friday only (no weekends)
-Pension Scheme
