Service Advisor - Bedfordshire - ATR_33527

We are looking for a Service Advisor on behalf of our client to join their successful team at their Bedford site.

Our client has grown significantly from their humble beginnings. Their expansive vehicle workshops, including over 7 acres of truck parking and storage on-site, have developed extensively and continue to grow. They proudly service a full range of fleet vehicles, from company cars to excavators and tractors.

As a Service Advisor, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service by acting as the liaison between customers and the workshop team. You will professionally manage customer inquiries, resolve issues efficiently, and ensure that service operations run smoothly. Successful applicants will have at least 1 year of experience in a Service Advisor role or a similar customer service position. Familiarity with Pinewood or Key Loop systems is desirable. A Full UK driving license and access to your own vehicle are required.

Main tasks of the job:

• Greeting customers and managing service inquiries professionally
• Advising customers on necessary vehicle repairs and services
• Coordinating with workshop technicians to schedule and update service jobs
• Providing accurate estimates and timelines for vehicle repairs
• Raising and managing service-related purchase orders on Pinewood
• Updating customers on the progress of their vehicles
• Handling customer complaints with professionalism and efficiency
• Maintaining accurate service records and documentation
• Supporting the workshop and admin teams to ensure smooth workflow
