Join Our Team as a Senior HGV Technician / Workshop Controller!
 
We are seeking an experienced Senior HGV Technician / Workshop Controller on behalf of our client, a Scania approved dealer based in Bedfordshire. If you’re passionate about maintaining commercial vehicles and trailers to the highest standards, we want to hear from you!
 
Key Responsibilities:
 
Oversee efficient workflow in the workshop and delegate/supervise technical tasks.
Conduct quality control checks on all completed vehicles and oversee MOT presentations.
Serve as the central technical reference for junior technicians.
Proactively liaise with Scania GB on challenging technical faults.
Carry out routine maintenance and repairs on all makes of vehicles and trailers to DVSA standards.
Diagnose and rectify all types of vehicle and trailer faults.
Attend disabled vehicles at the roadside or customer premises.
Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations and safe working practices.
 
Requirements:
 
Proven experience as an HGV Level 3 technician.
HGV driving license (desirable).

Pay: Up to £45,000 per year
 
Schedule:
10-hour shifts
Monday to Friday
AM and PM shifts available
