This role is a fantastic opportunity to join a nationwide fast fit chain as their Regional Training Manager.

In this role, you will be responsible for delivering training to their wholesale customers in conjunction with the Business Development Plans developed by the field sales team, for the targeting of selected 'house Brand' customers and key accounts.

The purpose of the role is to support the business added value strategy,designed to drive loyalty with customers, and deliver growth in sales volume, margin, and geographical coverage.

The role may necessitate a number of nights away from home per week and would include a coaching element, whereby the trainer not only provides classroom based input, but also supports the customers by working within their business. In essence, leading from the front.

We will be looking for candidates who can split their time between training and development, internal control, the customer, people and health and safety.

Ideally you will be based in the Reading to Swindon area however this is a role that you will be working from home and covering a regional patch.

The role is paying a basic of £30k p/a with an OTE of £37k p/a.

Whilst delivering a number of training topics, the role will include the following:
-Telephone Technique
-Face to face sales
-Customer service
-Leadership and management skills
-Product modules (predominantly tyre related)

ACCOUNTABILITIES:
To ensure that your activities support the short-to-long term goals of the business, by providing skills and knowledge products and services that meet the needs of the customers business, whilst at the same time meeting the needs of MTS.
To portray a professional image at all times and support the ethics and strategy of the business

RESPONSIBILITIES:
The key priority of the role will be to support the wholesale activities of the business, in both House Brand' and Key Account' customers, by providing training and support to MTS wholesale customers. With the goal of increasing customer skills, knowledge, and professionalism in their local Market, and help to strengthen and develop sell-out' skills

-Experience of collating and delivering agreed training content
-Presentation skills
-Coaching skills
-Can do' attitude
-Business planning
-Business finance
-Ideally a fast fit background

KNOWLEDGE:
-How to construct effective training material
-Good understanding of learning cycles and processes
-Good understanding of customer service skills
-Good understanding of sales techniques and how to apply them
-Able to articulate retail best practices
-Good I.T. skills (particularly Powerpoint)
-Tyre knowledge
-Marketing awareness
