Master Technician - South East London - ATR_17684

We have an exciting new opportunity for a Master / Diagnostic Technician who is a technically experienced and highly skilled leader not phased by responsibility.

Our client are a privately owned Citroen and Peugeot garage, who have been established for over 100 years, based in Croydon and are a small team looking for their next hire.

Responsibilities and duties:
Must be manufacturer Master / Diagnostic Technician accredited.
Being involved in all diagnostic decisions, including customer consultation and technician advice, contributing to the delivery of a quality culture that is focused upon first time fixes and safe working practises.
Undertaking repairs to manufacturer warranty standards and repair procedures.
Leading and maintaining highest standards to meet customer expectations, including duty of care checks and dealer operating standards.
Leading position within the Workshop Team; advising on work priorities, acting as a mentor and guide to other Technicians providing technical advice on work where required.
Attending manufacturer training courses, both online and classroom, to maintain manufacturer accreditation and to be at forefront of technology developments.
Maintaining highest standards to meet customer expectations, including duty of care checks and dealer operating standards.
Provide excellent customer service.

Knowledge/experience/qualifications required for this role:
Minimum Level 3 Qualification (with the right attitude and ambition)
Smart and presentable with good communication skills and ability to multi-task.
Punctuality, ability to work as part of a team and a hard-working attitude are essential.
Full, clean UK Driving licence.
Trained to IMI level 3 Electric / Hybrid vehicle maintenance and Main Dealer experience of Peugeot / Citroen is desireable although our client is prepared to train the right person with the right attitude and skill set.
