Job Purpose:
As a Master Technician, you will take on the responsibility of conducting advanced diagnostics, repairs, and servicing across a wide range of vehicle brands. Your role involves overseeing the identification and resolution of mechanical and electrical faults, performing complex diagnostic tasks, and ensuring that the workshop is equipped with the latest technologies and tools.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform high-quality vehicle inspections, diagnosing and addressing mechanical and electrical issues, including the use of wiring diagrams, diagnostic tools, and sourcing necessary information.
  • Conduct routine repairs, such as brake lining replacements and general servicing tasks.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex faults related to mechanical, electrical, engine, transmission, and chassis systems.
  • Remove and replace key components like engines, clutches, exhaust systems, batteries, suspension dampers, and braking parts.
  • Skillfully utilize diagnostic tools and wiring diagrams to gather information and solve problems.
  • Perform vehicle coding and programming as required.
  • Handle advanced diagnostic tasks, following best practices for repairs and adhering to manufacturer standards.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to fellow technicians, helping them improve their diagnostic skills and repair techniques.
  • Educate team members on specific vehicle brands and systems to enhance their technical expertise.
  • Communicate professionally with customers, explaining technical issues and resolving any concerns or inquiries.
  • Ensure that all technicians have access to the latest hardware and software for diagnostics, including the setup, repair, and maintenance of diagnostic equipment.
  • Stay updated on pass-through setups and optimize the use of PT systems.
  • Complete detailed job cards, accurately documenting faults, diagnostics, and repairs performed.
  • Promote a safe working environment by adhering to health and safety regulations and promptly reporting any hazards to senior management.
