Our client, an established diagnostic company, is looking for a fully qualified and experienced manufacturer trained BMW Master Vehicle Technician to join the team to work Monday to Friday ONLY.

Responsibilities and duties

- Provide technical support (information and advice) on vehicle diagnostics and solutions via
telephone/electronic communication to customers
- Coaching and technical support to assist other technicians in development of skills and competencies
- Log all contacts on customer database and maintain records of information and advice given as required
- Resolve queries related to use and operation of relevant diagnostic product
- Provide training support to customers and employees as required
- Liaise with engineers to develop software, data and hardware products
- Prepare training material
- Deliver technical training
- Maintain up to date repair solution knowledge

Knowledge/experience/qualifications required for this role

- Minimum 10 years Diagnostic Technician experience on BMW Vehicles
- Sound knowledge of electrical, electronic and mechanical systems
- Diagnostic skills and knowledge of the diagnostic process
- Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken
- Ability to breakdown problems and communicate solutions in structured manner
- Excellent evaluation and decision making skills to determine level of support required
- Excellent customer service skills and experience
- Ability to work using own initiative and work as part of a team
- Minimum City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3 Automotive Servicing & Repair or equivalent
- ATA Qualified IMI (Grade 3+) OR Brand specific training as a Technician
- Proficient in use of Microsoft programmes and other computer packages

- Hours: 8.30am 5.30pm Monday to Friday ONLY
