Are you a fully qualified and experienced Vehicle Mechanic / MOT tester looking for ongoing contract work that pays £17 to £22 per hour? Autotech Recruit are looking for fully qualified Level 3 (or time served - min 7 years) Vehicle Mechanics, with at least 5 years demonstrable UK workshop experience and a full UK driving licence, to join our nationwide network of contract mechanics.

The job role is similar to that of a mobile mechanic but where we source the work for you. Autotech offer short to long term contracts, giving you the freedom of working in a variety of different locations and workplaces on the days that you want to work. Our contract mechanics only take on light mechanical work consisting mainly of servicing, used car prep and MOT repairs, meaning there is no heavier mechanical work such as gearboxes, cambelts or engine rebuilds.

You are paid weekly, either via a payment company or your own Limited Business. Hourly rates start at £17 per hour with the potential to increase up to £22 (subject to specified manufacturer training).
