Are you a driven, enthusiastic and motivated individual with a passion for customer care? My client, a well established main dealership in Tunbridge Wells is looking for a Service Advisor to join their successful team on a temporary basis with the potential to turn into a permanent position.
About the position:
The successful candidate for our Service Advisor position will have previous experience within a dealership and proven customer service skills.
This is an exciting opportunity where you will be the main contact for the customer from initial meeting to completion and handing back of the vehicle. You will be responsible for liaising with the customer regarding the work to be undertaken on their vehicle and keeping them informed of the progress.
You will need to be comfortable and confident when professionally resolving any issues that may arise, managing customer and business expectations.
Successful applicants will have at least 1 years' experience working as a service advisor.
Experience with Kerridge or Pinnacle systems (or other equivalent system) is essential.
You will need to hold a Full UK driving licence and have access to your own vehicle.
Dealing with all customers in a professional, prompt and courteous manner, portraying a positive first impression of the Vehicle Service Department
Checking the vehicle onto site, allocating and checking out a loan vehicle, entering work onto the dealer management system
Managing progress of all jobs and liaising with the customer during progression of work and advising on technical queries/issues
The ability to work independently with a proactive approach
Customer focus, relationship maintenance and communication skills are of paramount importance in this role.
Ensure that customers are aware of all products and services available, including additional options, service plans, warranties
