At this year’s Automechanika Birmingham (3-5 June 2025), Autotech Group is set to make a bold statement by spotlighting two of its brands: Autotech Training and Autotech Connect. The spotlight will also shine on Autotech Academy, which will take centre stage at the Motorvate feature, championing the automotive industry as a dynamic and rewarding career path. Meanwhile, Autotech Recruit will be on hand to help employers connect with experienced, reliable talent to meet their workforce needs.

Together, our brands will present a united front, demonstrating how cutting-edge technology and focused skills development are not just beneficial, but absolutely essential in closing the skills gap facing the automotive aftermarket.
Driving Skills Forward: Autotech Training’s Autolearn Platform
Autotech Training will showcase its advanced Learning Management System (LMS), Autolearn, an intuitive, online training platform built to transform the way technicians engage with Continued Professional Development (CPD).
As the automotive world shifts towards electric vehicles (EVs) and ADAS-enabled vehicles, Autolearn delivers a flexible, modular e-learning experience that empowers technicians to upskill on their terms - anytime, anywhere. Supporting IMI TechSafe™ recognised pathways, the platform helps technicians maintain their compliance and remain up to date with the technical proficiencies.
Technicians certified in EV repair must complete 18 hours of CPD over three years, while those certified on ADAS need to complete 10 hours. Autolearn provides accessible, expertly designed content in bite-sized, user-friendly modules that support not only CPD but a broad spectrum of both technical and non-technical training. From hands-on vehicle systems to essential soft skills, the platform offers a user-friendly, efficient way to upskill, remain compliant, and meet evolving industry demands.
The platform is also fully customisable. Businesses can white label the LMS to align with their own training objectives - creating tailored development journeys for their workforce, backed by Autotech Training’s industry expertise.
Smart Tech in Action: Autotech Connect’s Assisted Reality Headsets
Sharing the stand is Autotech Connect, the brand driving technology adoption in the aftermarket to overcome skills shortages and boost efficiency. At Automechanika, the team will unveil the latest innovations in its Assisted Reality headsets - wearable devices that give technicians hands-free, real-time access to expert guidance.
New headset features being launched at Automechanika include AI-driven support designed to assist neurodiverse users and simplify admin tasks, creating a more inclusive and productive workshop environment. Also making its debut is a thermal imaging camera, allowing technicians to instantly identify live electrical components - speeding up diagnostics and reducing errors.
Visitors to Stand U78 in Hall 18 will have the opportunity to experience first-hand how Autotech Group is empowering the automotive aftermarket through innovation, accessible training, and a commitment to upskilling the workforce in an era of continual technological advancement.
Alongside this, Autotech Recruit - Autotech Group’s founding brand - will be spotlighted for its vital role in helping businesses remain resilient amid labour shortages. With the UK’s largest network of skilled, vetted vehicle technicians, MOT testers, parts and service advisors, Autotech Recruit delivers flexible, reliable workforce solutions that protect profitability and ensure operational continuity in a challenging employment landscape.
Autotech Academy is set to bring energy, opportunity, and a competitive edge to Motorvate
Join Autotech Academy at Motorvate (Stand B18) during Automechanika 2025, where our brand will be championing skills, driving opportunity, and adding a spark of innovation to the show floor.
With a stand dedicated to engaging the next generation of automotive talent, Autotech Academy will spotlight its industry-leading internship initiative aimed at helping newly qualified students transition seamlessly from education into employment.
Offering paid internships tailored to the needs of employers, the initiative equips each intern with a uniform and a professional toolbox - free to keep if they complete the programme and move into a permanent role. With the flexibility to adjust training, mentoring, and internship length, the programme delivers lasting value to both interns and businesses, while directly addressing the sector’s ongoing skills shortage.
Adding to the excitement, the Autotech Academy stand will feature an interactive X-Box racing challenge, with British Touring Car Championship tickets up for grabs. NAPA Racing UK’s Dan Cammish - sponsored by Autotech Academy - will make a special appearance on the first day of the show, setting a lap time that visitors will be challenged to beat. With over 400 interns placed since its 2021 launch and a 95% conversion rate into full-time roles, Autotech Academy is proving that solving the skills crisis can be both impactful and fun.
We’re excited to bring all four Autotech Group brands - Autotech Training, Autotech Connect, Autotech Recruit, and Autotech Academy - to this year’s Automechanika, each one designed to solve real challenges in the automotive aftermarket. If you're heading to the NEC Birmingham from 3–5 June, come and see us at Stand U78 and Stand B18. We'd love to chat, share ideas, and show you how we're driving the industry forward.
