As part of the celebrations for our 10th year in business, all employees, contractors, and friends of Autotech Recruit are invited to take part in a fundraising event. Our aim is to join forces to raise money for Age UK to provide care packages for the elderly. 2020 has been a challenging year for all, but particularly for many older people who may have been isolated and lonely for an extended period.
Join our team and track your normal daily activity, exercise, or steps - collectively, we'll emulate Phileas Fogg by travelling around the world in 80 days! That is 24,844 miles, 40,000 kilometers, or 50 million steps by the end of February 2021. The more people join our challenge, the more care packages will be delivered for the elderly!
Your contribution can be achieved via walking, running, biking, swimming, bouncing, rowing… any form of movement can be tracked and synced on a fitness band, mobile phone, or tracked manually and entered onto the app. Every little helps so even your daily steps at your workplace also count.
To put the challenge in context, to achieve our aim, if 100 people join the challenge, each doing approximately 10,000 steps per day, we would smash the target and make it around the World in 80 days.
