The Opportunity
Due to continued growth, our client is looking to recruit two Vehicle Technicians and one MOT Tester / Technician to join a busy and professional automotive workshop in Epsom.
These positions offer excellent training, long-term career development and the opportunity to work with modern vehicle technology, including Hybrid and Electric Vehicles. You’ll be joining a well-established workshop that values quality workmanship, teamwork and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs to manufacturer standards.
- Diagnose and rectify mechanical and electrical faults.
- Complete vehicle health checks and identify additional work where required.
- Ensure all work is completed efficiently, safely and to a high standard.
- Maintain accurate workshop and repair documentation.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve workshop targets and customer satisfaction.
- Adhere to all health and safety and company procedures.
Additional Responsibilities (MOT Tester / Technician)
- Conduct MOT tests in accordance with DVSA guidelines.
- Accurately record test results and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Support the workshop team with servicing, repairs and maintenance work as required.
Candidate Requirements
Vehicle Technicians
- NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent).
- Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician, Service Technician or Mechanic.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
- Main dealer experience advantageous but not essential.
MOT Tester / Technician
- Relevant automotive qualification (NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent).
- Current MOT Tester licence preferred.
- Previous experience carrying out MOT testing and vehicle repairs.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
