The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Vehicle Technician / Mechanic to join a busy and professional workshop team in Bristol.
This role offers excellent long-term career prospects, ongoing manufacturer and industry training, and the opportunity to develop your skills in emerging vehicle technologies, including electric and hybrid vehicles.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs to manufacturer standards.
- Diagnose and rectify mechanical and electrical vehicle faults.
- Complete vehicle health checks and identify additional work where required.
- Ensure all work is completed efficiently and to a high standard.
- Maintain accurate service and repair documentation.
- Adhere to all health and safety and workshop procedures.
- Deliver excellent levels of workmanship and customer satisfaction.
Candidate Requirements
- NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent).
- Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician, Service Technician or Mechanic.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding abilities.
- MOT Tester qualification desirable but not essential.
- Main dealer experience advantageous.
