The Opportunity
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Vehicle Technician / Mechanic to join a busy and well-established automotive workshop in South West London.
This position offers ongoing training, long-term career progression and the opportunity to develop skills in the latest vehicle technologies, including Electric and Hybrid vehicles.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out routine servicing, maintenance and repairs to manufacturer standards.
- Diagnose and rectify mechanical and electrical faults.
- Complete vehicle health checks and identify any additional work required.
- Ensure all work is completed efficiently, accurately and safely.
- Maintain accurate workshop documentation and job records.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve workshop targets.
- Deliver a high standard of customer service through quality workmanship.
Candidate Requirements
- NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent).
- Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician, Mechanic or Service Technician.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding capabilities.
- MOT Tester qualification desirable but not essential.
- Main dealer experience advantageous but not required.
- Positive attitude with a commitment to continuous professional development.
