Vehicle Technician
Luton Area | Up to £40,000 OTE | Permanent
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Vehicle Technician to join a busy, well-established automotive workshop in the Luton area.
Working within a modern workshop environment, you’ll be responsible for servicing, maintenance, diagnostics and repairs, with access to ongoing manufacturer-led training and career development opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs to manufacturer standards
- Diagnose faults using the latest diagnostic equipment
- Complete vehicle inspections and identify additional repair requirements
- Perform electronic vehicle health checks
- Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard
- Deliver excellent customer service through a “fix right first time” approach
Requirements
- NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair
- Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
- MOT Tester licence desirable
- Own tools
- Full UK Driving Licence

Working Hours
Monday to Friday
- 8:00am – 5:00pm or
- 8:30am – 5:30pm
1 in 2 Saturday mornings
- 8:00am – 1:00pm
