Vehicle Technician – Group Support Equipment
Location: Luton Airport
Hours: 4 on / 4 off 05:30 – 17:30
Salary: £40,512.00 per annum
An exciting opportunity has opened up for an experienced Vehicle Technician to join a global aviation support operation at Luton Airport. This is a hands-on role in a high-energy environment, maintaining and repairing Ground Support Equipment and specialist vehicles that keep airport operations moving.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Repairing and maintaining GSE and specialist vehicles
- Carrying out inspections, brake tests and smoke tests
- Accurately diagnosing faults and reporting parts/work required
- Completing job cards and documentation to a high standard
- Working safely, consistently, and in line with ISO and H&S standards
- Liaising with supervisors, colleagues and customers on site
Shift Pattern
- 4 on / 4 off
- 05:30 – 17:30 (days)
What We’re Looking For
- LGV Level 3 (or equivalent) in Motor Mechanics – ESSENTIAL
- Strong fault‑finding and mechanical skills
- Health & safety focused with a professional approach
- Comfortable in an operational, customer-facing environment
