Vehicle Technician – Independent Garage | £32,000–£42,000 DOE
I’m recruiting on behalf of a long‑established, highly reputable independent garage in Kenilworth that is looking to add an experienced Vehicle Technician to their team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who takes real pride in their work and wants long‑term stability within a friendly, down‑to‑earth workshop.
Hours:
Mon–Thurs: 08:30 – 17:30
Friday: 08:00 – 17:00
Salary:
£32,000 – £42,000 (depending on experience)
Holidays:
21 days + bank holidays
The Role:
Working with a supportive team in a well‑equipped workshop, you’ll be handling a variety of tasks across all makes and models, plus a small fleet of vehicles.
Your day‑to‑day will include:
- Routine servicing and maintenance
- Mechanical repairs
- Diagnostics & fault finding
- MOT repair work (MOT licence beneficial but not essential)
- Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard of quality and safety
This is a diverse role, ideal for someone who enjoys hands‑on work and varied jobs coming through the doors.
My client is seeking someone who is:
- Experienced as a Vehicle Technician (Level 3 preferred)
- Capable of independently completing servicing and repairs to a high standard
- Confident with diagnostics
- Detail-focused and quality-driven
- A good communicator with a positive attitude
- Holder of a full UK driving licence
