Key Responsibilities
- Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs to manufacturer standards.
- Diagnose and rectify vehicle faults efficiently and accurately.
- Conduct vehicle inspections and identify repair requirements.
- Complete all work to the highest standards of quality and safety.
- Provide technical support and advice where required.
- Maintain accurate workshop records and job documentation.
- Work closely with service advisors and workshop control to ensure efficient workflow.
- Support and assist fellow technicians within the workshop team.
Candidate Requirements
- NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent qualification.
- Experienced Level 2 Technicians will also be considered.
- Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician within a dealership or professional workshop environment.
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
- Ability to work efficiently while maintaining excellent attention to detail.
- Good understanding of vehicle safety and repair standards.
- MOT Tester licence advantageous but not essential.
- Full UK driving licence.
