The Role
As a Vehicle Technician, your responsibilities will include:
- Carrying out servicing, maintenance, and mechanical repairs to manufacturer standards
- Diagnosing faults using the latest diagnostic equipment
- Completing vehicle inspections and health checks
- Identifying additional repair requirements and advising accordingly
- Ensuring all work is completed efficiently, accurately, and safely
- Working closely with Service Advisors and Workshop Control to maximise customer satisfaction
- Supporting fellow technicians and contributing to a positive workshop culture
- Maintaining excellent standards of workmanship and documentation
About You
To be considered for this opportunity, you should have:
- NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding abilities
- Good knowledge of current vehicle technologies and safety standards
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to consistently achieve productivity and efficiency targets
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Full UK Driving Licence
Desirable:
- Current MOT Tester licence
- Previous main dealer experience
- Experienced Level 2 Technicians will also be considered
