Vehicle Technician
Salary: Up to £39,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Location: Failsworth
Hours: 8:30am – 5:30pm Monday to Friday

Autotech Recruit are working on behalf of our client, a well-established independent garage group with a strong reputation for quality servicing, maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs. Following a recent acquisition, they are investing in the growth of this site and are looking to expand their team. They are looking for a dedicated and skilled Vehicle Technician to join their dynamic team. This role involves general servicing, maintenance, and repairs on a diverse range of vehicles, including all makes and models. The ideal candidate is passionate about automotive technology and committed to providing quality service.
The business works on a wide range of vehicles, including cars, light commercial vehicles, hybrids, and EVs, using modern workshop equipment and advanced diagnostic technology. Responsibilities
- Perform general servicing, maintenance, and repairs on various vehicle makes and models
- Diagnose and repair suspension and brake systems effectively
- Conduct inspections to identify mechanical issues and recommend appropriate solutions
- Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used
- Adhere to safety protocols and company standards at all times
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and efficient completion of work
- Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques
- Provide excellent customer service and clear communication regarding vehicle issues and repairs
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician
- Strong knowledge of vehicle mechanics, including suspensions and brakes
- Ability to work with a variety of vehicle makes and models
- Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Commitment to maintaining a safe and inclusive work environment
- Strong communication skills and teamwork orientation
