The Role
An established automotive retailer is looking for a Vehicle Technician to join its workshop team. The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Servicing, maintenance, repairs and diagnostics on a range of vehicles.
- Carrying out mechanical and electrical repairs including brakes, suspension, steering, exhausts, wheel bearings and air conditioning.
- Supporting EV and Hybrid vehicle maintenance where required.
- Completing vehicle health checks and service documentation to manufacturer standards.
- Using diagnostic equipment to identify and resolve faults.
- Working closely with colleagues to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
Candidate Requirements
- NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair, or working towards completion.
- Experience as a Vehicle Technician, Mechanic, MOT Tester, Auto Electrician, HGV Technician or similar.
- Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- MOT Licence and EV/Hybrid qualifications beneficial but not essential.
- Ability to work to a high standard within a team-focused workshop environment.
