The Role
As a Vehicle Technician, you will be responsible for:
- Carrying out routine servicing, maintenance, and mechanical repairs
- Diagnosing faults using modern diagnostic equipment
- Completing vehicle health checks and inspections
- Ensuring all work is completed efficiently and to manufacturer standards
- Maintaining accurate job records and workshop documentation
- Working closely with Service Advisors and Workshop Controllers
- Supporting colleagues and contributing to a positive team environment
- Delivering excellent standards of workmanship and customer satisfaction
About You
To be considered, you should have:
- NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent)
- Strong diagnostic and repair skills
- Good understanding of vehicle safety and industry standards
- Ability to work efficiently whilst maintaining high-quality workmanship
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Full UK Driving Licence
Desirable:
- MOT Tester qualification
- Previous dealership experience
- Qualified Level 2 Technicians with relevant experience will also be considered
