The Role
As a Vehicle Technician, you will be responsible for:
- Carrying out servicing, maintenance, repairs and diagnostic work to a high standard
- Completing vehicle health checks and identifying additional repair requirements
- Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults using the latest equipment
- Ensuring all work is completed in line with manufacturer and safety standards
- Maintaining accurate workshop records and job documentation
- Working closely with Service Advisors and Workshop Control teams
- Delivering excellent customer satisfaction through quality workmanship
- Supporting colleagues and contributing to a positive workshop culture
About You
The successful candidate will possess:
- NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent qualification
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Good understanding of vehicle safety standards and workshop procedures
- Ability to work efficiently whilst meeting productivity targets
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Full UK Driving Licence
Desirable:
- MOT Tester licence
- Previous dealership or franchise experience
