Vehicle Preparation Manager
Location: Radcliffe, Manchester
Hours: Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm
Salary: £35,000 – £40,000 per annum (Depending on experience)
Are you an organised, motivated professional with a passion for cars and the automotive industry? We’re supporting a well‑established prestige vehicle retailer in the North West who is looking for a Vehicle Preparation Manager to join their growing team.
About the Role:
This is a key position overseeing the full vehicle preparation journey—from initial delivery right through to being retail‑ready. You’ll play a hands‑on leadership role in coordinating the prep team and ensuring vehicles move smoothly and efficiently through each stage.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing the workflow of all vehicles through the preparation process
- Conducting or overseeing initial appraisals
- Liaising with external body repairers, mechanical workshops and MOT providers
- Organising vehicle movements and ensuring all work is completed on time
- Maintaining high standards of presentation, quality and turnaround time
- Prioritising workload and working independently when required
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- Able to manage multiple tasks and work at pace
- Confident leading and coordinating teams
- A strong communicator with good problem‑solving skills
- Experienced within vehicle preparation, logistics or dealership operations (ideal but not essential)
A full UK driving licence is required.
