Due to continued growth, a leading automotive retailer is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician to join its professional aftersales team. Working Hours
- Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm
- Saturday rota requirement
The Role
As a Vehicle Technician, you will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, diagnosing and repairing a wide range of vehicles to the highest standards.
Key responsibilities include:
- Carrying out vehicle servicing, repairs and diagnostics
- Completing electrical and mechanical repairs
- Working on suspension, steering, braking systems, wheel bearings, driveshafts, exhaust systems and air conditioning
- Diagnosing and repairing faults using modern diagnostic equipment
- Supporting maintenance and repair work on electric and hybrid vehicles
- Fitting accessories and additional vehicle equipment
- Completing all job cards and service documentation accurately
- Utilising digital vehicle health check and video reporting systems
- Ensuring exceptional levels of customer satisfaction through quality workmanship
- Collaborating with workshop colleagues to share knowledge and maintain high standards
About You

- Apprentices nearing qualification completion
To be considered, you will ideally have:
- NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair
- Strong mechanical and electrical diagnostic skills
- Full UK Driving Licence
- A commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship
- The ability to work effectively within a team environment
Desirable but not essential:
- MOT Licence
- Electric/Hybrid Vehicle qualification or experience
Full manufacturer and specialist training will be provided for the right candidate.
