An opportunity has arisen for a Service Technician to join their busy and successful workshop team in Portsmouth.
The Role
As a Service Technician, you will carry out vehicle servicing, maintenance and repairs efficiently and safely while ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and workshop productivity.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out vehicle servicing and repairs in line with manufacturer standards.
- Follow manufacturer and dealership processes and procedures.
- Liaise directly with customers when required.
- Provide support and guidance to less experienced technicians.
- Attend regular training to maintain and develop technical skills.
- Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment.
- Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and within agreed timescales.
Requirements
- Relevant City & Guilds, BTEC or NVQ qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
- Previous experience within a franchised dealership environment.
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
- MOT Tester qualification preferred.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to meet deadlines.

Monday to Friday
08:00 – 17:00 (30-minute lunch break)
