Service Technician – Ossett Area
Salary: From £33,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Location: Ossett
Hours:
- Monday to Friday: 8:30am – 5:30pm
- Saturday: 8:30am – 12:30pm
(With the potential to move to alternate Saturdays as staffing levels increase)
The Opportunity
Autotech Recruit are recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing automotive business in the Ossett area for an experienced Service Technician to join their busy workshop team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a technician looking for a stable role within a supportive working environment, carrying out a mixture of vehicle servicing, repairs, and fast-fit work.
Key Responsibilities
- Carrying out vehicle servicing and routine maintenance
- Diagnosing and repairing mechanical faults
- Performing fast-fit duties including tyres, brakes, exhausts, batteries, and suspension work
- Completing vehicle health checks and identifying additional work where required
- Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and in line with health and safety procedures
- Delivering excellent customer service through quality workmanship
What We’re Looking For
- Level 2 NVQ/IMI (or equivalent) in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair – essential
- Previous experience in a technician, service technician, or fast-fit technician role
- Strong servicing and maintenance experience
- Experience carrying out tyre fitting, brake work, and other fast-fit repairs
- Full UK driving licence
- A positive attitude and strong team-working skills
