About the Role
Autotech Recruit is excited to be supporting a well-established, high-performing car dealership in Tewkesbury in their search for an experienced Service Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated automotive professional to take ownership of a busy service department and drive performance, customer satisfaction, and team development.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the Service Department
- Ensure exceptional customer service through clear communication and high standards
- Achieve financial targets including labour sales, upsell, and department profitability
- Oversee workshop efficiency, productivity, and quality control
- Manage, mentor, and develop a team of Service Advisors and Technicians
- Handle customer escalations professionally and proactively
- Ensure compliance with all dealership and manufacturer standards
- Monitor KPI performance and implement improvements where needed
About You We’re looking for someone who is:
- An experienced Service Manager or Assistant Service Manager within a franchised dealership
- Confident leading a team in a fast-paced automotive environment
- Driven by customer satisfaction and operational excellence
- Commercially minded with strong understanding of departmental KPIs
- Organised, proactive, and able to make effective decisions under pressure
