Automotive Service Manager
Location: Tallaght, Dublin
Salary: €60,000 + up to 5% bonus
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Autotech Recruit are working with a leading organisation within the automotive sector that is currently going through an exciting period of growth and transformation. They are looking to appoint an experienced Service Manager at their new SMR site which is due to open early September, to join their Technical Services team and play a key role in delivering an exceptional customer experience.
Reporting into the Technical Service Operations Manager, this is a hands-on leadership role suited to a driven, adaptable and customer-focused professional who thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee the day-to-day operations of a busy workshop
- Drive high standards of customer service, ensuring all KPIs and targets are achieved
- Maximise team productivity and operational efficiency
- Manage and support technicians to maintain outstanding service quality
- Monitor performance, analyse results and implement continuous improvements
- Handle customer queries and complaints effectively and professionally
- Ensure full compliance with health & safety standards
About You:
- Previous experience in a Service Manager or similar leadership role (essential)
- Strong leadership, communication and people management skills
- Solid understanding of the motor trade and aftersales operations
- Customer-focused mindset with a passion for delivering excellence
- Ability to perform under pressure and manage competing priorities
- Full, clean driving licence
- Confident communicator with the ability to build relationships at all levels
