Salary: £30,000 basic | OTE £40,000
Hours:
Monday – Friday: 8:00am – 6:00pm (1 hour lunch)
Saturday: 8:00am – 12:30pm (1 in 3 rota)
My client, a well-established and reputable franchised automotive business in Portsmouth, is looking to recruit an experienced Service Advisor to join their busy aftersales team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a customer-focused individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced dealership environment and wants to earn strong commission while delivering high levels of customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Acting as the main point of contact for service customers
- Booking vehicles in for service, maintenance and repair
- Providing clear advice on required work and additional recommendations
- Liaising closely with the workshop and technicians
- Keeping customers updated throughout the day
- Upselling service plans, repairs and maintenance where appropriate
- Delivering an outstanding customer experience from start to finish
The Ideal Candidate
- Previous experience as a Service Advisor within the motor trade (franchised or independent)
- Confident communicator with strong customer service skills
- Organised, professional and able to manage a busy workload
- Commercially aware with the ability to upsell ethically
- A team player with a positive attitude
