Location: Portsmouth
Salary: £35,000 basic | OTE £50,000
Hours:
Monday – Friday: 8:00am – 6:00pm (1 hour lunch)
Saturday: 8:00am – 12:30pm (1 in 3 rota)
My client, a well-established and highly regarded franchised automotive business in Portsmouth, is seeking an experienced Senior Service Advisor to play a key role within their aftersales department.
This position is ideal for a confident, commercially aware Service Advisor who can lead by example on the front desk, support colleagues, and consistently deliver exceptional customer service while maximising aftersales performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Acting as a senior point of contact for service customers
- Managing complex customer enquiries and resolving issues professionally
- Supporting and mentoring Service Advisors within the team
- Booking vehicles in for service, maintenance and repair
- Advising customers on required and recommended work
- Liaising closely with the workshop to ensure efficient workflow
- Keeping customers informed throughout the day
- Driving aftersales sales through ethical upselling and service excellence
- Maintaining high CSI and manufacturer standards
The Ideal Candidate
- Proven experience as a Senior or experienced Service Advisor within the motor trade
- Background in a franchised dealership environment preferred (but not essential)
- Strong leadership presence with the ability to support and motivate others
- Excellent communication and customer handling skills
- Organised, professional and commercially focused
- Able to thrive in a busy, target-driven environment
