Are you an experienced and confident Service Advisor looking to step up into a senior position? Our busy and successful dealership in Bridgend is looking to recruit a Senior Service Advisor to support and help lead our established aftersales team.
The Role As Senior Service Advisor, you will play a key role in delivering an exceptional service experience for every customer while offering leadership and support to our two existing Service Advisors. You’ll be responsible for managing service enquiries, coordinating with the workshop, and ensuring a smooth and professional aftersales process from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a senior point of contact within the service department
- Support, guide, and help lead two Service Advisors
- Manage customer bookings and enquiries in person and via phone/email
- Liaise effectively with the workshop to communicate customer needs
- Prepare job cards, estimates, and obtain repair authorisations
- Keep customers fully updated throughout their service journey
- Assist with warranty, parts, and technical queries where possible
- Contribute to departmental targets and customer satisfaction goals
About You
- Strong experience as a Service Advisor (senior-level or ready for the step up)
- Solid working knowledge of automotive service processes
- Any parts or technical knowledge is a valuable bonus
- Excellent communication, organisation, and customer-service skills
- Confident, proactive, and able to support junior colleagues
- A positive team player who enjoys a busy, customer-focused environment
