About the Role
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced and highly skilled Vehicle Technician to join a growing automotive business as a Lead Technician. This role is ideally suited to a strong diagnostic technician who enjoys tackling complex repairs and supporting workshop standards. Candidates from both independent garages and franchise dealerships are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
• Carry out advanced diagnostics and fault finding
• Undertake complex mechanical repairs and maintenance
• Complete major engine and timing-related work including wet belts, timing belts and timing chains
• Support workshop productivity and technical standards
• Ensure repairs are completed efficiently and to the highest quality
• Assist colleagues with technical guidance where required
• Maintain accurate repair records and job documentation
Requirements
• Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician with strong diagnostic capability
• Experience completing complex mechanical repairs and engine work
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Lead Technician experience advantageous
• Level 3 qualification preferred
• EV qualifications and advanced technical training beneficial
• Full UK Driving Licence
