Recruitment Consultant – Service & Parts
Location: Milton Keynes (HQ) – Fully office based
Salary: £28,000- £30,000 + Monthly Commission
Hours: 35 per week, Monday- Friday (9:00- 17:00), with occasional out‑of‑hours availability required
Autotech Recruit, part of Autotech Group, is looking for an enthusiastic and relationship‑focused Recruitment Consultant to join our Service & Parts team. In this role, you’ll support clients across the UK by placing skilled Service Advisors, Parts Advisors, and Aftersales professionals, while managing a pool of contractors and ensuring smooth, successful workforce delivery.
What you’ll be doing
Client Management
- Build and manage relationships with clients requiring service and parts personnel.
- Act as their main point of contact for workforce needs and booking requests.
- Coordinate contractor placements and ensure excellent service levels.
- Maintain proactive communication to anticipate demand and identify opportunities.
- Spot opportunities to place permanent candidates across existing clients.
Contractor Management
- Manage a network of contractors across multiple client assignments.
- Provide booking details, assignment information, and ongoing support.
- Check in regularly with contractors to ensure smooth delivery and resolve any issues.
- Be available for contact outside standard working hours when needed.
Recruitment & Talent Sourcing
- Source, screen, and assess candidates for temporary and permanent roles.
- Build and maintain a strong network of qualified contractors.
- Manage the full recruitment process from sourcing to placement.
- Keep all candidate information updated within the CRM.
Booking & Scheduling
- Coordinate contractor schedules and bookings in line with client demand.
- Monitor availability and maximise contractor utilisation.
- Identify opportunities to increase deployment across existing bookings.
Administration & Compliance
- Manage timesheet submissions, approvals, and regular contractor check‑
- Maintain accurate records of bookings, rates, and contractor details.
- Support payroll through timely and accurate administration.
- Ensure all onboarding and compliance documentation is complete and up to date.
Commercial Performance
- Maximise gross profit (GP) through effective negotiation and workforce planning.
- Monitor the profitability of bookings and contractor utilisation.
- Identify opportunities to grow revenue through additional placements and account development.
What you’ll bring
- Experience in recruitment, workforce coordination, or a customer‑focused role (service/parts/automotive desirable but not essential).
- Strong relationship‑building and communication skills.
- Confidence managing multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of your workload.
- A proactive approach, with strong organisational and problem‑solving skills.
- Comfortable using CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
