About the Role
Our client, a well-established and nationally recognised automotive service provider, is seeking an experienced and customer-focused MOT Tester to join their successful workshop team in Trowbridge.

You will be responsible for carrying out MOT inspections to DVSA standards, accurately reporting vehicle defects, and providing customers with clear and professional advice regarding the condition of their vehicles.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct MOT tests in line with current DVSA regulations and standards
- Accurately identify and report vehicle defects and test failures
- Clearly communicate MOT outcomes and recommendations to customers
- Deliver high levels of customer service throughout the customer journey
- Complete all required documentation and records accurately
- Support the wider workshop team when required
- Adhere to all health and safety procedures and company standards
Candidate Requirements
To be considered for this position, you will require:
- A valid MOT Testing Licence
- A full UK driving licence
- Previous experience working as an MOT Tester
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to vehicle safety
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- A positive, team-oriented approach
- The ability to work efficiently in a busy workshop environment
Salary & Benefits
- Basic salary of £33,000 – £39,000 per annum
